Have you ever tried an old shirt of your mom? or a pair of fantastic shoes? when I flip through old photo album, I like to see, as my mum was dressed, I always say: 'wow Mom, what beautiful shoes that you had "!

Many times I've turned old jeans into skirts or something else, and now I love to gather and collect all the old buttons, which are in the attic or between the dresses, of my mother or grandmother ....
I'd love to see some vintage market in some cities, but I don't know where, you know some nice vintage market?

New in the shop

This week I added many new items in my shop, and I really enjoyed making collages, to use more pictures in listing possible, because Etsy gives the possibility of inserting only five.
What do you think? I also found a new corner near the window to take pictures, and I like the effect that makes this twilight zone .... I am very happy with this latest photoshoot!

Etsy Italia Team flies to Berlin!

Etsy yesterday in Berlin opened its first international office !
There was a great party, and two of our members the Gasometri have flown to Berlin to attend the inauguration, and brought with them a stack of postcards to introduce our team.

What is special about these cards? In addition to great graphics showing Europe, and in one hand, the metric converter in centimeters and inches, have also the 10% discount to all who will receive the postcard!

How do you get a discount of 10%, and which shop?

I updated the shop with new items, also included these earrings

Yesterday I tried to photograph them in a neutral background, white, how do you think? more professional? - Or do you prefer the background in brown?


the style of my shop is focused on some vintage wallpaper and a little dark, but never neutral, so if I wanted to take this neutral background, I should completely change everything in my shop, changing banners and renew all photos ... I think it is impossible to do it in a few days, it would take months ....
- Probably is just a test, do the occasional photo of a white background and insert it between the five pictures of each item for sale.
if one day I wanted to make my shop neutral, at least half of the items, has a picture of them in white ... may be an idea?

Weekend wishlist

Minna from Karuski, had a great idea in her blog,
to make a wishlist of how we'd like to spend or organize our weekend!
I do not ever organize my day, this seems an excellent opportunity to do so for the first time, and maybe fulfill all of my programs!
I'd like to do at least some of these things:

-make a salted cake with spinach
-create something new, new colors of "charlotte brooch"
-do other colors of vintage hair pins
-go to a restaurant with old friends
-making new photos to new items
-write in my renovated blog, to keep it alive
(I want to be able to write every day)
-advertise my Etsy shop for the new promotion "FREE SHIPPING"
